I am a proud Navy Veteran who has lived in the Hampton Roads area for over 30 years. Creating generational wealth through real estate has always been a passion of mine, having purchased my first home at 24 years old. Using my vast knowledge in traditional real estate transactions, short term rentals, rehabbing homes and creative financing, I love helping others achieve that goal as well.

Originally from Massachusetts, Alan found himself in Hampton Roads courtesy of the NAVY and fell in love with the area. Alan began his real estate journey as an investor in 2010. He has bought and sold many houses since then to flip, wholesale, or rent. He also has been a Board member of Tidewater Real Estate Investment group for nearly a decade! His passion for real estate and helping others made the decision to become an agent an easy one! In 2021, he decided to put his knowledge of the area to good use and join the Murray Realty Group as a realtor.

Dr. Betty Spencer is a Native Virginian, she received a B.A. in Psychology from Virginia Wesleyan University, a M.A. in Early Childhood and Special Education from Hampton University and her Ph.D. from George Mason University in Education Administration and Distance Learning. She is a retired School Administrator who returned to teaching due to a shortage of teachers in the Special Education field.
She has served her community as the Chairwoman for United Way of Arlington County Virginia, as a Board Member for the Arlington Community Service Board and as the Treasurer for the Pinewood Hills Homeowners Association. She is currently serving as a Board of Director for the Spence Crossing Homeowners Association and the Halstead Condominium Association in the capacity of Secretary. Dr. Spencer has also served her community as a Girl Scout Leader and as Superintendent of the Sunday School at her Church. Serving others comes naturally for Dr. Spencer.
She is so excited to be turning that community focus toward real estate. During her exploration of communities, she observes whether the community is pedestrian friendly, where parks are located, parking and how well the homes and community have aged. Through this natural curiosity for communities and neighborhoods, she
will help you find the perfect neighborhood for you and your family.
When Dr. Spencer isn’t making homeownership dreams come true for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two fur babies, hiking, boating and fishing. Dr. Spencer lives in Virginia Beach with her family.
